X-Ray Technician

Turnbull Diagnostic Imaging is looking for an X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on special projects as the need arises. We are a multi-specialty clinic providing a wide variety of health care to patients of the city of Peterborough and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will be working Monday through Friday between two facilities in Peterborough.

Skills and Abilities:

- Perform general routine radiographic examinations

- Must be able to work with patients independently

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Computer skills, knowledge of PACs and RIS

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with patients, staff and physicians

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize duties

- Demonstrates an understanding of ethical behaviours and confidentiality requirements in a health care institution

- Assesses and prioritizes workload

Competitive Salary - Negotiable Upon Experience $38/hour

Education & Experience

- College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Certification

- Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) Certification

- CAMRT

- Post Secondary Education
