TELUS Health is looking for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join an amazing multi-disciplinary team in our Toronto Bay Street Care Centre. This is a Part-Time position.

What you’ll do Perform medical imaging procedures according to prescriptions and protocols during business operating hours

Act as the Radiation Protection Officer

Perform Quality Assurance on a daily basis

Perform certain administrative tasks as needed, such as:

Medical appointments

Registering patients

Procedural explanations, positions and scanning

Disinfecting environment

Participating in implementing directives from Accreditation Canada

Follow up with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure excellent customer service

What you bring Graduate of an accredited medical radiology program

2-3 years of Sonography OR X-Ray Tech certificate and experience is an asset

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

Bone density certified

Strong professional judgement, organized and able to manage your time effectively

Strong problem solver, ability to critically think and analyze data

Diligent, autonomous, punctual, discreet, good people skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Good computer knowledge

Experience in operation a GE Prodigy Bone Densitometry device a strong asset

Salary Range: $29-$53
