We are seeking skilled, motivated and patient-focused Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) to join our growing team at our Breslau and New Hamburg locations.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

Experience in general and/or specialized ultrasound is preferred. Experience in vascular, MSK, breast, obstetrical and other specialized examinations is an asset.

Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs)

Experience in general radiography is required. Experience in BMD, mammography, CT or other imaging modalities is an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations safely, accurately and efficiently.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols.

• Review requisitions and patient history and follow appropriate examination protocols.

• Provide compassionate, professional and patient-centred care.

• Explain procedures clearly and respond to patient questions and concerns.

• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality and dignity.

• Follow applicable radiation safety, infection control and workplace safety standards.

• Complete accurate examination documentation.

• Perform required equipment and quality-control procedures.

• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians and healthcare team members.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and professional workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

Sonographers:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

• Current registration in good standing with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS, as applicable.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Demonstrated competency in required ultrasound examinations.

• Strong technical, communication and patient-care skills.

MRTs:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program.

• Current registration in good standing with CMRTO.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Demonstrated competency in general radiography.

• Additional modality experience is an asset.

• Strong technical, communication and patient-care skills.
