The archived OAMRS Fall 2025 Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Symposium features expert presentations on MSK Ultrasound innovations and patient treatment.

Speaker Information

Jag Dhanju, DMS, Director/Founder, CCMSU Medical Imaging, presents on Fundamentals of Elbow Sonography. This presentation provides a practical overview of elbow sonography, including a review of elbow anatomy, identification of normal structures, and recognition of common injuries and pathologies, highlighting advancements such as microvascular power Doppler and shear wave elastography.

Dr. Cristy French, MD, Professor of Radiology, Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center, presents on Ultrasound of the Rotator Cuff and Biceps Tendon. This presentation will identify ultrasound findings of basic rotator cuff and biceps tendon pathology, appreciate clinically important imaging findings, and recognize key pitfalls to prevent misinterpretation of pathology.

Dr. Vishal Kalia, MBBS, MD, DNB, FRCR(UK), M.MED (Diagnostic Radiology), EDiR, Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Saint Joseph Healthcare, presents on Sonographic Assessment of the Wrist. This presentation will identify normal sonographic anatomy of the wrist and ultrasound assessment of common wrist pathologies.

Dr. Mohini Rawat, DPT, ECS, OCS, RMSK, President, American Academy of MSK Ultrasound, presents on Peripheral Nerve Ultrasonography. This presentation will identify the normal sonoanatomy of peripheral nerves in the upper and lower extremities using high resolution ultrasound, differentiate common peripheral nerve pathologies based on characteristic ultrasound findings, and differentiate peripheral nerve entrapments from mimicking conditions using ultrasound imaging.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Suguru Laxman, MD, Product Sales Executive, Siemens Healthineers Canada, presents on Optimizing Musculoskeletal Imaging: Innovations in MR for Orthopedic Excellence. This presentation will discuss workflow efficiency improvements, imaging innovations, and clinical use cases of advanced MRI technologies such as Simultaneous Multi-Slice (SMS) TSE, Deep Resolve, and Compressed Sensing SEMAC for accelerated, high-resolution MSK imaging.
